Signs of Life in New York

You may have noticed around NYC that our parking signs have been nicely updated. The text (font) has been changed to look more modern and signs layout and spacing is more airy, making the signage more readable. This is something that not every one is going to notice, but the new signs are now a bit easier on the eye. In the end this is what makes good graphic commnication, ease of use and clear readability and ultimately the public navigating city signage (and parking) more clearly. I will do a bit more research to find more about the type face and who did the re-design and add more images for future posts.
